The fine folks at Quintin Co. hooked us up with some of their dopest hats so we got hands on with our favorite pieces for a product review. As we mentioned in our interview with Quintin last week, they make all their own headwear at their warehouse in Downtown LA, so the quality, fit, and finish is really top notch. Each piece is also totally custom to Quintin; these aren’t basic re-tagged wholesale joints. The result is a polished product in designs you don’t see anywhere else.

First up, is the Gordon Hybrid ($32), a seamless combination of a 5 panel camper hat and a traditional snapback. The Gordon is an all-corduroy affair with a burgundy crown and navy bill, all set off with a flawless white 3D logo embroidered on the front panel. The pin-corduroy is nice and heavy so the hat easily keeps its shape with wear.

Next up is the Pico Hybrid ($32), and same as the Gordon, it’s a trick combination design of 5 panel and snapback. The crown is made from a super soft wool blend with the front crown panel getting a custom diamond quilted treatment. The bill is finished in a textured and super-durable black nylon cordura, with the underneath matched in the crown’s olive wool. Again, the fit-and-finish is mean and clean, definitely the work of a team passionate about their gear. Make sure to check out all Quintin’s gear on their online shop.
