As your girlfriend probably informed you, last night was the Golden Globes, which is the less prestigious version of the Academy Awards, that honors the year’s best in TV and film. The awards are voted on by The Hollywood Foreign Press which is another semi-bogus voting entity and the categories are inexplicably divided into Drama and Musical/Comedy (aka everything else). As you can imagine, you end up with some weird shit like The Wolf Of Wall Street being labelled a comedy. Needless to say, none of that matters because the event is just an occasion for celebrities to get super wasted, cry occasionally, and accept awards. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler handled hosting duties and kept it light and funny. Check out the winners below so you can stunt knowledge on your coworkers today.
