Each day in October brings with it the promise that Banksy will leave his mark on some new part of New York. Today is Day 17 in his Better Out Than In street art installment series and finds Banksy bringing the art gallery to the streets with an installation at West 24th Street. Banksy has hung two pieces, one by himself, and the other by Brazilian artists Os Gemeos under a bridge, set up a bench, and even hired a security guard to keep things civilized. Earlier this month, the paintings were featured on New York’s The Village Voice for the magazine’s October issue. Banksy decides to bring the art to the people instead of charging people to see it hanging in a crowded gallery. Check it out below and over at BanksyNY.
