Today’s flick of the day is a throwback-inspired skate video by Pontus Alv presented by Converse CONS. The video harkens back to the late 80s when street skating started to really blow-up and Converse CONS Pro Skate sneakers were the shit. The video was shot in the Trocadéro area of Paris hence the title that you may have thought had something to do with California or Mexican food.
This is what the press release has to say about the matter:
“This era of skateboarding means so much as it was when street skating really broke though; it ripped out of California and spread around the world like wild fire. It created the foundation for what skateboarding is today. This film is a celebration of that time. It inspired us. We hope it inspires you. Go build a jump ramp and explore.”
Check it out and remember, you don’t need a 60 foot ramp and a loop-de-loop to shred some gnar!
