If you’re a regular reader here then you know we’re big fans of dope kicks, and equally big fans of dope kicks that have been artistically rendered. Staten Island (shout out to the Wu-Tang Clan) artist Marcus Allen put his own spin on some of the most recognizable kicks from TV, movies, and pop culture for his “Iconic Kicks” artist series. Allen re-imagines Forest Gump’s famous Nike Cortezs, Ghostface Killah’s Clarks Wallabees, Kanye’s infamous Red Octobers, even Bart Simpson’s little blue sneakers, among others in a clean and minimal illustration series.
