Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams have just been announced as performers at the NBA All-Star Weekend. Next weekend marks the 63rd edition of the NBA All-Star Game, and this year the action goes down in New Orleans. Kendrick Lamar will be kicking things off on Saturday night during the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest as it airs live at 8pm EST on TNT. The next night, Pharrell will be joined by “surprise chart-topping musical guests” when he performs on Sunday, February 16th during the player introductions. The halftime show will feature a performance from Janelle Monáe with Trombone Shorty, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Dr. John. Check out the action next weekend and watch Kendrick perform with Imagine Dragons on last weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live.
