Nike’s vintage Air Tech Challenge II has been making the news a lot recently, especially with the new “Hot Lava” colorway on the market now. The most recent addition to the family properly honors the man who popularized the silhouette, Andre Agassi, and the Australian Open that he dominated on several occasions. In time for the current Australian Open, this ‘Tier Zero’ Nike Sportswear release features several trick details that honor the tennis great and his accomplishments including the number “1036” embroidered on the heel cup signifying the number of games Agassi won during his 20-year career. You’ll also notice the numbers “95 00 01 03″ on the tongue that mark the years Agassi won the Australian Open. The premium white leather upper is spiced up with hits of Vivid Blue and Solar Orange that zig zag and wrap around the shoe. Lastly, a yellow tennis ball on the sole further drives home the message that this is an Agassi joint. Check it out below and check your local Nike Sportswear dealer for these kicks.
