For Holiday 2013 Obey brings us a legendary collaboration with the OG Cali punks in Suicidal Tendencies. The collection, which dropped today, marks the 30th anniversary of ST’s debut record and the album art that defined the band. For a collaboration, the collection is pretty deep with a full range of gear including tees and tanks, crews and hoodies, jackets, hats and beanies, bandanas (part of the band’s iconic look), and even skateboards that honor their punk/skate heritage. To design and bring the collection to life, Obey hooked up with ST founder Mike Muir, as well as two of the original artists responsible for the art behind the band, Ric Clayton and Lance Mountain.
Read the whole story from the team at Obey here, including words from Shepard Fairey on how Suicidal Tendencies influenced him.
