Everything is coming full circle today here at Dopamine HQ. The Hundreds announced today that they’re releasing a limited edition capsule collection with LA-by-way-of-San-Francisco cartoon artist Jay Howell. Jay has done work with Vans, Nickelodeon, the Fox network and Trash Talk, and even masterminded Fox’s hit show Bob’s Burgers. You may also recall from yesterday’s feature, that he’s been an inspiration for up-and-coming artist/cartoonist Ben Jensen aka Way Bad. See what I mean.
Anyway, the collection drops tomorrow, Thursday, October 24th at select Hundreds stockists, with the online release following next Tuesday, October 29th. ‘The Hundreds by Jay Howell’ line features a bunch of original graphic tees (including some trick gradient joints), pullovers, crewnecks, five-panel hats, and a specially signed and numbered screen print. And, because The Hundreds leave no stone unturned, they’re even hosting a limited time only ‘The Hundreds by Jay Howell’ exhibition at Slow Culture Gallery (5906 N. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 90042), starting this Friday, October 25th, 2013 from 6 – 10 pm. Check out the gear below, and head over to The Hundreds for more info on the release.
