This past weekend, I swung by the Orange County International Auto Show to check out the latest and greatest in rides and whips. My overall impression of the show was that it was small (but efficient, it only took about an hour and a half to see everything), but everyone (except Mini, wtf?) was well-represented with multiple models on display for each carmaker. From the domestics, the highlight was definite the new Viper from SRT (Dodge’s performance division). That thing was slick as fuck, super low, and outrageously powerful. On the import side, Mercedes had a fleet of new designs on the floor including the very sexy new E-Class and all-new CLA class 4-door coupe. Stand-out carmaker had to be Audi, who’s current fleet is fully stacked with boss design and definitely the most impressive and well-executed interiors on the market. Exotics were on show in the DuPont VIP registry area where you could check out the insane matte black Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, along with top notch rides from Maserati, Ferrari, and Bugatti. Check out some of my shots from the show and make sure to check the show when it’s in town next year!
