Halo CE and Halo 2 deserve 4 player co-op. However, unlike in other Halo games where co-op is available, it is not possible to play local co-op in Halo Wars and Halo 5: Guardians. It would be more work than you would think for them to add an additional two players into the campaign. I was just wondering because I believe Halo CEA only had 2 player co-op. Close. The reason this wasn't added in was because they games never had four player co-op to begin with. :(. These both are how they were at launch and have remained unchanged.And even then, 4 player co-op is only available through xbox live.

Besides, with how laggy coop is on MCC PC, do you really think that would be a good idea for a game that required modding to make such a thing work in the first place? I don't recall 4 player co-op being a thing in any of the campaigns, nor do i recall 2 player co-op on CE(Halo 1 was single player campaign if i recall only...) Halo CE was at least 2 player, split-screen at least, and if you are all on different consoles you can do 4 players.

All of the games included with the collection feature Co-Op Campaigns. My friends are finally getting the chance to play the Legendary saga with me and there's 3 of us, it's not a cool experience having to ditch one of us for Halo CE & 2 especially when they're two third of the holy trilogy!
