Clem spends the summer on a boat trip with her family trying to cope with the aftermath of a tough school year. I thought this book was just okay. It has heart, it has depth, it has lightness, and it has the sweetest romance ever. In her memoir, Toni opens up about all of this and how she has overcome and rebuilt her life. Clementine, the protagonist, felt very much like me as a teenager. Download it once and read it on your Kindle device, PC, phones or tablets. I’ve known a bit about their story but it was great to get more insight from the perspective of the eldest Braxton child. Maybe being surrounded by only her parents and her little sister Olive will be good for her, since they’re the only people who seem to still like her.
