The stock battery offers 48 volts with 10 amp hours, and the upgrade offers 15 amp hours.

The Pedego City Commuter, Mid Drive Edition, features a host of exciting new deluxe features, including a more powerful and efficient mid-drive motor and convenient twist-and-go throttle.
Shifting is a lot safer on this ebike than most of the other centerdrives because of that shift detection feature, and it’s hard to put a price on test rides, proper assembly, and in-person education. In short, I found the display to be easy to read, relatively easy to reach from the left grip, and useful with the USB port. I can recommend stopping by the New Wheel in Bernal Heights, but they don’t carry any throttle powered ebikes. Four fun color options, integrated headlight, pedal assist and throttle mode, quality mechanical disc brakes... A sturdy and powerful electric bike that's a bit more active than the cruisers (more forward body position, narrower handlebars) and is available in several frame sizes for improved fit. But don’t worry, the Mid Drive edition still has all the features that made the City Commuter one of Pedego’s most popular bikes, including:

Not sure on exact dates but I did see their prototype during the last visit and came away very impressed. We will match any reasonable and legitimate offer. I was delighted to see that Pedego had engineered a physical shift detection system to protect the chain, sprockets, and derailleur from the massive 95 Newton meters of peak torque. Also, Practical Cycle has teamed up with Time Payment to offer you more flexible payment options on all purchases over $1000.

However, Pedego has also included a physical fuse and on/off toggle switch (protected by a water-resistant housing) near the base of the pack. Pedego Electric Bikes are not the highest or lowest priced.

I really wish a $3,400 bike would have been more reliable after less than only a month.

Some quick comments to your article – there should not be any ‘wobble’ or frame flex whatsoever on a bike designed like this. It’s nice to have options! I was not able to see the app during my visit and review ride, but am told it will offer turn-by-turn navigation, social integration (so you can share rides with friends), and help with after-sales diagnostics and service.

Each menu here has a number, and 6 is where you can choose off to limit the bike to 15 mph. You need incredible strength where that intersection of a pillar and downtube intersect, especially when the motor is mounted there at the support plate, or it’s very possible that ‘flex’ will translate into the motor housing and introduce unnecessary lateral forces and affect the internal components or even the bearings.

It was a completely different design than what we see here, and Pedego has chosen all of their electronic parts to be highly water resistant.
